On the 17th to 19th of March 2014, all over Europe, the Young European Federalists will symbolically silence statues to draw attention to the fact that still so many Europeans are denied their right to speak.
“It is absolutely unacceptable for us as Europeans to stand by and quietly accept the status quo. We need to speak up as Europeans to safeguard the democratic rights we all seem to take for granted”, says Pauline Gessant, President of JEF Europe.

On the 18 March 2013, the Young European Federalists (JEF-Europe) will organise a coordinated pan-European “Free Belarus Action” in many cities throughout the continent to show support for the suppressed Belarusian civil society and opposition movement. The last action in 2010 took place simultaneously in more than 100 cities all over the globe but the call for fair and democratic elections went unheard…
